Superceeding the Britax Explora Isofix, the Britax Safefix Plus car seat includes the new Britax Click and Safe strap mechanism which clicks loudly to tell you just when to stop pulling on the harness tensioner and know that the straps holding your child are not too tight or too loose. 3 recline position and extra padded seat and side wings make for optimum side impact protection.
The Britax Safefix car seat also includes the patented "Pivot Link" system that reduces the childs forward movement within the seat - essentially dissipating energy from an impact before it reaches your child. This means that if you are unlucky enough to have an accident - your child will be better protected and slow down more gradually.
Vehicle manufacturers worldwide are adopting Isofix as the standard for car seat installation because the system creates a rigid link between the child seat and the car and removes the risk of slack installation that can occur when car seats are installed using an adult seat belt.
