The Svan highchair is stylish, robust, stable, lightweight and infinitely adjustable. You can use it from c.6 months, to forever (yes, really!) and we absolutely love it. Importantly this updated Svan highchair model complies with the new 2007 EEC highchair regulations.
Svan have also introduced a very useful plastic tray cover which can be easily removed and thrown into the dishwasher to keep it clean germ free.
Made from compressed birch and lacquered for easy cleaning it comes with a washable seat cushion which is reversible so that you can leave it twice as long between washes. The tray can be detached and hung conveniently on the back of the chair when not in use. Unlike nearly every other highchair on the market, there is no bar across the base at the rear so that you can pick it up and move it around without resultant bruised shins. The safety bar is adjustable and once your child has outgrown the highchair you simply remove it to convert to a fully adjustable toddler chair.
The stability of the Svan highchair in the toddler setting allows kids to get up and down themselves which supports a growing independence, while ensuring your child is always sitting at the correct height at the dinner table. Finally, you can convert the Svan to an extremely comfortable full size adult chair – ideal for homework or the home office.
