You may just need one for a few days to create a milk stockpile before returning to work full-time, but it's more than likely you have been advised to hire one of these brilliant hospital grade pumps because you have:
- A premature or hospitalised baby
- Low milk supply
- Sore nipples or engorgement

- Flat or inverted nipples

The Symphony® was the world's first electric breastpump to offer 2-Phase Expression technology - mimicking the way babies suckle at the breast. Initially your baby suckles rapidly to stimulate the Milk Ejection Reflex (MER) and induce "let-down". Once the milk starts flowing, the speed of your baby's sucking decreases for the actual feeding phase. The unique combination of this stimulation and expression phase set a new benchmark in breast pump design.

Terms and Conditions of the Breast pump hire:
- The Breast pump remains the property of Medela UK Ltd at all times.
- All hire charges must be prepaid.
- All rental monies will be automatically debited to the customers credit/debit card on or just after the delivery date.
- The £65.00 payment covers £40.00 delivery and collection fee that is non refundable. £25 of the inital fee is for the Medela pump kit.
- If you decide not to use the pump it can be returned unopended within 14 days of deliviery. If the product is opened there is no refund applicable.
- £40.00 charge per 30-day hire period (after initial 14 days).
- The Breast pump should be returned to the Medela Breastfeeding outlet from where it was originally hired. Once the Breastpump has been returned, no further hire charges will be made.
- The Hirer is fully responsible for any loss/damage caused to the Breastpump whilst on hire.
- The Breast pump should be cleaned prior to returning to Medela Breast feeding outlet.
- The Hirer MUST advise Medela UK Ltd of any permanent change of address.
- The pump kit when purchased becomes the property of the Hirer and need NOT be returned with the Breast pump.
- Breast pump rentals are charged at a low monthly rate, with no refunds for unused days.
- All prices include VAT at 15%
- All Hirers are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions of Breast pump Hire.
Hire Includes
- Initial 14 days, Medela double pump set, Delivery (normally next business day to your home) and the return carriage charge
Hire Period
- The initial £65 charge is for 14 days pump package. For an additional 30 days the cost is £40.00.

- You get to keep the double pump set which can easily be converted to manual or electric hand pumps
